MORE THAN HALF OF ALL IRISH HOUSEHOLDS SUFFERING FROM ENERGY FUEL POVERTY

Yesterday we released more findings from our Big Energy Switch, which has shown that out of 4,000 members who took the survey more than 3 out of every 5 households are suffering from fuel poverty.

The response to these findings has been huge, with our Senior Campaigner David Liston talking to national and local media throughout the day about the findings.

The findings put beyond doubt the fact that Ireland is gripped by an energy affordability crisis, and energy reform is needed in Ireland.

Each Big Energy Switch is a bold experiment with no guarantees, however it is clear that consumers need to start taking action to lower their energy bills.

The more households who get on board the louder our voice will be to spread the word and get energy providers listening, so please remember to spread the word to family & friends.

Joining the Big Energy Switch is entirely cost and obligation free. Consumers who wish to join can visit www.onebigswitch.ie Registration closes at midnight 8 April 2016.
